Quivira Road (159th Street to 179th Street)

Following the completion of the Quivira Road improvements from 151st Street to 159th Street the City of Overland Park released the next phase of improvements; Miles Excavating was awarded the project and were able to continue improving this stretch of roadway with the city as this area expands rapidly! This was an interesting project as it was a major roadway rehabilitation, plus construction of a traditional bridge, and a haunch slab bridge! Miles Excavating had Butch Adams as the overall superintendent for this project, along with John Conrad our bridge superintendent teamed up to oversee all construction! We broke ground on this project in the spring of 2019 & were 100% complete by the fall of 2021! Miles Excavating is proud to have another project successfully completed ahead of schedule and under budget!
