119th & I-35 Interchange Improvements Project

Miles Excavating is proud to have opened the I-35/119th Street interchange to full traffic. All of the work to reconfigure the interchange to a diverging diamond (DDI) and widen 119th Street and the bridges over the BNSF Railway was completed within the allotted shut down time periods for lanes and bridge closures. The project was completed ahead of schedule in the fall of 2021! Having worked through the pandemic period, completing this project earlier than the contract schedule is testimony to Miles's commitment to the City of Olathe, KS Government and Kansas Department of Transportation. Kudos to the Miles Excavating Bridge division who worked tireless hours to execute this outstanding project!
